edit : when i downloaded web version savefile to another file, the corrupted file suddenly started to work. why?

Decided to download the game (clutch doesn't even work on web supposedly) but upon loading the web save I receive the following error:

Hi, just wanted to make sure you're aware this game is being used on a Google site targeted towards children on school laptops called EZclasswork. There's a feedback form on the site, if you want to contact the owner about it.

the Ore Trail upgrade causes the game to crash with certain ores like sand, making the save near unplayable. The only way I've found to fix it is by setting "oretrail" to false in the playerdata.json file in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local

My confusion is immense, I’m instantly overwhelmed and I’m not gonna read the wall of text of a guide. May I suggest incrementally introducing mechanics instead of like 10 things at once with no explanation?
